We are happy to say yes, we are! As of June 1, 2020 - we've reopened our doors for lessons, rentals, and retail sales.

Can I rent without previous surf experience?
We are happy to set you up with gear even if it is your first time surfing, however we highly recommend you first taking a lesson with one of our experienced and fun surf instructors! Getting the basics of surfing is super important for your safety and success in the sport! Book online or contact us today!
Will I be cold?
Believe it or not, but odds are good that you will not be! Yes, our water is cold - but we are high quality gear will be carefully chosen to best fit you and keep you warm while out there!
Can I pick up gear for my friends?
We require that every renter sign one of our rental waivers. Thankfully, these can be done online now! Contact us to get a link to our waiver and to ensure your gear rental will go smoothly.
Will I need a hood, boots, or gloves?
Generally, October through May we surf with SOME sort of accessory. Our rental technicians will be happy to make the best recommendation of what you’ll need for your time in the water. All accessories are included in your wetsuit price.
How old do I need to be to sign a waiver form?
Participants must be 19 or older to sign a waiver for themselves. If under 19, a guardian will have to sign for you. This can be done online ahead of time - just give us a call or email and we will send you the link!
What sizes of boards do you have available for rent?
We rent everything between 5’6 and 12’0! We rent a range of epoxy and soft top boards, fit for wherever your surf level may be at. We also have a range of performance boards that a staff member will be happy to set you up with.
I want to try stand up paddleboarding, do you rent those as well?
We do! Even better, we operate a SUP shack down located right on Mackenzie beach, opening May Long weekend and running until weather permits in the fall. It is operated out of Ocean Village Resort, and is stocked with stand up paddle boards, wetsuits, accessories, body boards, etc.! Keep in mind that our widest range of wetsuit and surfboard gear is at our main shop located at 441 Campbell St.
How do I transport my gear?
We provide you (free of charge!) with soft roof racks or straps for the top of your vehicle. Our rental technicians will be happy to help you get all set up and comfortable with the equipment.
Do I need to reserve my rental gear?
We are currently taking rental customers on a first come, first serve basis! Swing by the shop to grab your gear.
